KALLANG! upon exiting the Dreaded Tunnel of Neverendingness (why do i call it so??? coz everyday i take train back from queenstown to kembangan and im rendered claustrophobic when the journey from tiong bahru to kallang begins; no lah, i'm just trying to add some dramatic effects to the paragraph=p) i realized, OMG! i'm sitting beside a really pretty malay baby on her father's lap.
she is ADORABLE!! With long eyelashes and eyes too big for her face. (aren't all babies like that, i tell u having eyes that are relatively big to the rest of your body just makes u cute lah). And i smile at her and wave her. and guess what!
She smiles back!!! OMG, this baby is adorable! Even my baby cousin doesn't like me that much. and i have no idea why. i look very fierce??? my smile not genuine enough????and she stares, smiling. and i stare back, smiling. mouthing the words, "harlo", silently and exaggeratedly. and guess what!she laughs!!! OMG, this baby is SO adorable! i get quite distracted from den onwards and was quite unable to carry on my conversation with wg. coz every 5 seconds, the baby will start laughing. and she'll turn away for a while, den turn back in a sudden movement and guffaw at me.and everytime she did that i was seriously distracted coz she was sooo cute and her 5-second outburts getting louder and louder as we left Aljunied and headed for Kembangan.
oh. she's not a girl by the way. she's a boy. but her eyes and features are so pretty i can't get out of the mindset that he's a girl.but anyway, this adorable doll had a baby brother who was in his stroller, held by a standing man. and something really shocking happened at the roundabouts of Eunos.
There was another rather huge size malay man supposedly part of this entourage of malay families. As the train made a tiny jerk, the malay man fell butt first straight down into the stroller and Baby Brother disappeared, drowning. Everyone was SHOCKED!!! ppl all reached out for the Malay Man to pull him up ASAP. And you could see all eyes in the carriage turned towards the fall.And i was so scared lah at that pt. i think my mouth was hanging unglamly half-open. coz i wondered whether the baby would suffocate. but thankfully, it didn't, coz it started crying soon after.
And through all of that, the Pretty Boy next to me kept laughing every 5 seconds. Oblivious to her dear brother's near-death drowning. Soon after, Pretty Boy ran off to his mom sitting on the opposite row or chairs and i never got to say bye.=(
