hey everyone
I know you must be thinking I’m gonna do a Sarah (now Amanda beat me to it. damn), unfortunately yes, but this is not my first time doing this. I did this when I ORDed too, probably it’s the bonding between friends when you’ve gone through so much together that pushes you to write some emotional note before you leave.
It has really been God’s blessing that I got this job lobang, or I would be rotting at some corner don’t know doing what. most importantly, I had a LOT of fun. more than I ever expected from a temp job. haha. as much as so much of you hate your jobs, you don’t know how much I love to be here in office. lol. I hate to be alone, so that’s why having people around matters quite a lot to me. I miss the free drinks, free cabs, free dinners, free stationery, free internet, free vista, free office, free this free that… probably the free time too. (psst. I know where the spare vista and office are stored.. they are in Yeo Wei Kien’s office. 3 copies of vista, 3 copies of office. shall we raid his office tonight?)and I get paid as I write this note. haha. pb’s probably taking glances at my monitor wondering what the hell am I typing when I said I finished my stuff already.
so yupp. shall start with him first. wth. boon? boonsng? chinaman? Toyota?? the jokes never stop and ALL that talk about food and the makantrail, the list goes on and on, there’s so much. and all that funny pronunciations. her-groin, a-lan-so, try-bute. damn funny la. but thanks for answering all my questions, serious and not serious, and you’re a Chinese song dictionary la dammit. I haven’t really known anyone who knows so many songs..kevin Brandon shawn. full of shit. acty wth la. the 4 of you are full of shit and you all talk nonsense as if you’re talking serious stuff. kevin and his spastic ‘tag heuer’ watch. how many functions huh, spin spin spin. I still don’t know how to open that dumb watch. all the spastic comments abt Amanda and sarah never fail to amuse me. hah. and I can’t believe I saw Brandon in Microsoft after BMT when I wondered who that dumbass bugger trying to attract attention with his bloody big oakleys in tekong. I think I won most foosball games when you’re in my team.. hah. and shawn, I think I talk the least to you among all of em, but you’re like any of them, damn nonsensical, but the most serious among all them. but come to think of it, how serious can you guys get? what happened to gym? but yes. the lunch group rocks. it’s the best group among all the other groups there are in Microsoft. maybe the one with kotosh is better. hahaha. kidding.
Amanda. haha. i feel damn bad for you, that you always kena insulted by all of us. psc scholar going to Cambridge. don’t be so blur la. but haha. you’re quite interesting to talk to when we talk about serious stuff. talk abt anything else, you’ll just end up making fun of yourself. one day when I’m free enough I’ll come up with a compilation of your antics hahaha. you’re an indispensable part of south 1 and Microsoft. who else to scan the documents if you weren’t around!? and the other member of south 1. Kimberly ah. I’m going to see you in smu, and wah lao. I’m jealous you got some study award leh. I got nothing. you’re one of the nicest to talk to and I think I can relate best to you. we are super emo, and I’ll remember the ugly betty-ing and heroes. haha. South 1 seriously is the best place to work in. we have our own room, we have so much food, and we have so much fun. haha! (wth. u must spoil my email by saying so loud I typing this mail issitt!)
not to forget the people who sit furthest away from me. Brenda hah. you seriously love to surprise us. I still remember you come into our room and asked.. so where shall we have buffet ah? u and pb can seriously fight to see who knows more abt food. you 2 can talk and talk and talk about food non-stop for donno how long ah. and I’m waiting for your pay rise so that I’ll have my treat. the adjustment team is going for karaoke and buffet hor??
last but not least, I owe a big thank you to bonnie. if you hadn’t ask me to come here to work, I wouldn’t have written any of the above at all. you appear whenever there’s food in the room and your laughter is blooooody contagious. haiyo. they should seriously consider you as a contract staff, working OT for so many days, and denise is probably gonna struggle once you’re gone. casa will flood the office. hahaha. have a good trip in hk alrights! I think you’re seriously overworked but what to do, every month top student.
and yes there’s still sarah, nat, jingyi that are not ard and I miss them too! sarah don’t go lunch, Amanda also don wanna go. haiyo. then nat don’t know doing what in Canada and jingyi’s back in school. everyone’s going back to school. is that good or bad? but oh well. the best time was when everyone was still here.
are we still going to talk to miss shibuya?
hah, anyway, thanks for making my stay so enjoyable, so full of laughter and nonsense. though there are times when work seems never ending (although this is hardly the case), I know that I’d rather be here than rotting at home. please. keep in contact. I’d still wanna hang out and chill out whenever you guys are free. maybe inject some smiles into my life as I move back to the mugging phase of my life. take care. and I will miss everyone here.

it's the second last night of my work. i'm gonna miss The Office. sadly
i think i'm going to miss the lightning speeds of the computers, and the crazy things we do everyday. and i'll miss the guys and the girls who have played a part in the last 4 months of my life in microsoft.

and yes. back to The Office again. I wanna thank bonnie so much, for getting me this job, for her ever contagious laughter that I have missed out a lot the whole time we did not keep in contact. without this job, i'd probably be a very different person. better or worse, nobody knows.

hmm its a day of the ex-es.
kinda random but yeah.
met chris after sucha long time.. roamed abt chevron house, ate subway(AGAIN), bought watches at raoul, walked most of clarke quay or boat quay, whichever that one was? and yummy azabu sabo ice cream to round it all up.. one big mess we created by the river..
and then byebye to brian at night. woah. super lotsa pple turned up. it looked as if there was a tour group at the airport. hah!
gosh. i'm really gonna miss having him ard, to talk cock and all. and i can't help but feel that i should also be the one waving and leaving everyone else behind..
ah yeah. God has good plans in store for us:)
yes, the other. it's amazing how i finally got to talk to lynette on an extended basis, if you know what i mean.. after eons? but yupp. same old her lahh. being her friendly self as usual. good luck for your piano exam, i don't know how you gonna finish practising it on time. but i can't help but smile after i dropped her off. at least i know that she doesn't hate me. haha.
oh yes. did i forget to mention. linzhi's back from india (please don't make me eat that aromatherapy weird stuff again), and so is mervyn from london.

it's a birthday week.
david's early 21st bday celebration at ps cafe.
hmmm. eye-opener. in terms of the people that were there and the location. ask me if you wanna know what exactly.
yaochen's 21st bday celebration at aranda country club. texas holdem all night. gosh. very bad.
zurong's 21st early bday celebration klunch at cine, followed by the soccer match which we lost 0-1 to a bunch of sec4s.. sadly.
and a meetup with jingyi a long time after she left microsoft!
had a looooong dinner at some la mian place at harbourfront centre, pengboon and brenda just went on and on abt food..
realised how much we were missing out on good food la. gosh. so need to go scout for some delicacies soon.
and yes. we queued for doughnuts at vivo. haha.

it's been quite a while since i last blogged.
but when i have time to upload more pics i will. these are all i have in The Office.
sarah's last day at microsoft.
brian's bday celebration all the way at kovan. sorry i couldn't drink! but yeah. one cup of pure chivas enough to make up for it i guess! man. you're 21 alr. and you're leaving for the states. now lap's in london, you're in michigan, and i'm in sad singapore. unfair! all the best and hook up with some hot blonde babes yup!
supper at bedok 85. haha. amanda kena insulted big time. i'm sorry. i can't help but feel sad for you. sorry i was late ah. but you guys are damn power. niao amanda for so long still got so much to niao about. our abs become so much more toned after the supper session. gosh.
shopping the next day with sarah. walked the whole of orchard, scouring for some good deals. quite shiok la. and i'm becoming rather weak after getting tired so easily from all the walking..
i only bought one shirt. and there goes sarah on her spending spree. but you didn't spend all the 300 i lent you! hah
and sunday was spent watching oceans 13 w kim. dammit la. i think i'm going to suffer if i go overseas. straining my ears to figure out what those pple were saying in the show. and yupp. the neoprints are like damn cool la. i'll take photos of it and post it up soon. hah!
and the week was in The Office again. with my dear kids cancelling tuition on me and me cancelling on them. feel so bad. but anyway. they should be happy too. hahah
oh yes. caught the premiere of fantastic 4 too. alba is SO SO HOT. hah and kim got punk'd when i told her alba was at the premiere. wah lao. stop being so gullible can!

woohoo. another boring day at work
never really got to rest and no time to do my sneaky lil thing.
haha. dinner was good tho! had a really good time having that gigantic burger at changing apetites. yeah. it really changes your apetite after you eat. you get so turned off by the sight of food after that. seriously we are super full of nonsense.

i so have to blog about these 2 incidents.
cheryl. supposed to meet alr, but she like glanced at me and rushed off in the opposite direction. i'm like WTH? but she actually rushed to this blind busker who was probably lost after going to the toilet or somewhere. and she helped him all the way back to where his keyboard was (the place where he busks, you know, in the tunnel). RESPECT.
bus driver. this morning as i wait anxiously for bus no.10, after 10 minutes, i finally saw it coming from far far away. and guess what. it stopped like 200m away from the bus stop?? and i was. OMG I AM SO GOING TO BE LATE AGAIN. WTH IS WRONG WITH THE BUS!! and then the bus driver got out of the bus, (and i really thought he was gonna check his wheels or something) went to the front of the bus, and carried the cat out of the way. (i think the cat planned to commit suicide) can you believe that? if i was the bus driver i'd probably slammed the horns till the whole neighbourhood woke up. ah no. till the stupid cat moves out of my way.
but yes. there are such people who exist and they make me smile and realise what an idiot i actually am. haha.

stars galore, as usual. becca's gorgeous tonight. lol. and so was felicia chin
the show was nothing but crap. totally 0 out of 5 stars. no part of a star shaded at all. yuck. distasteful humour, no plot. i don't know what was that. but at least we were in the same cinema as all the celebrities, and there was like an introduction before the show, and the cast had a lil speech one by one. draggy like mad.
eek. pls DO NOT watch the show unless you have nothing better to do.

shrek 3 was a blast. hilarious and gosh it really made my day. haha. sorry the cinema was kinda chilly and i didn't have a jacket! not used to seeing someone cuddled up on a seat.. shld have just taken the polo you gave me to cover yourself la. and we so must watch MORE shows! oh man. i'm still way into shrekkkk! puss in boots.omgomgomg. the show rocks.
