hey everyone
I know you must be thinking I’m gonna do a Sarah (now Amanda beat me to it. damn), unfortunately yes, but this is not my first time doing this. I did this when I ORDed too, probably it’s the bonding between friends when you’ve gone through so much together that pushes you to write some emotional note before you leave.
It has really been God’s blessing that I got this job lobang, or I would be rotting at some corner don’t know doing what. most importantly, I had a LOT of fun. more than I ever expected from a temp job. haha. as much as so much of you hate your jobs, you don’t know how much I love to be here in office. lol. I hate to be alone, so that’s why having people around matters quite a lot to me. I miss the free drinks, free cabs, free dinners, free stationery, free internet, free vista, free office, free this free that… probably the free time too. (psst. I know where the spare vista and office are stored.. they are in Yeo Wei Kien’s office. 3 copies of vista, 3 copies of office. shall we raid his office tonight?)and I get paid as I write this note. haha. pb’s probably taking glances at my monitor wondering what the hell am I typing when I said I finished my stuff already.
so yupp. shall start with him first. wth. boon? boonsng? chinaman? Toyota?? the jokes never stop and ALL that talk about food and the makantrail, the list goes on and on, there’s so much. and all that funny pronunciations. her-groin, a-lan-so, try-bute. damn funny la. but thanks for answering all my questions, serious and not serious, and you’re a Chinese song dictionary la dammit. I haven’t really known anyone who knows so many songs..kevin Brandon shawn. full of shit. acty wth la. the 4 of you are full of shit and you all talk nonsense as if you’re talking serious stuff. kevin and his spastic ‘tag heuer’ watch. how many functions huh, spin spin spin. I still don’t know how to open that dumb watch. all the spastic comments abt Amanda and sarah never fail to amuse me. hah. and I can’t believe I saw Brandon in Microsoft after BMT when I wondered who that dumbass bugger trying to attract attention with his bloody big oakleys in tekong. I think I won most foosball games when you’re in my team.. hah. and shawn, I think I talk the least to you among all of em, but you’re like any of them, damn nonsensical, but the most serious among all them. but come to think of it, how serious can you guys get? what happened to gym? but yes. the lunch group rocks. it’s the best group among all the other groups there are in Microsoft. maybe the one with kotosh is better. hahaha. kidding.
Amanda. haha. i feel damn bad for you, that you always kena insulted by all of us. psc scholar going to Cambridge. don’t be so blur la. but haha. you’re quite interesting to talk to when we talk about serious stuff. talk abt anything else, you’ll just end up making fun of yourself. one day when I’m free enough I’ll come up with a compilation of your antics hahaha. you’re an indispensable part of south 1 and Microsoft. who else to scan the documents if you weren’t around!? and the other member of south 1. Kimberly ah. I’m going to see you in smu, and wah lao. I’m jealous you got some study award leh. I got nothing. you’re one of the nicest to talk to and I think I can relate best to you. we are super emo, and I’ll remember the ugly betty-ing and heroes. haha. South 1 seriously is the best place to work in. we have our own room, we have so much food, and we have so much fun. haha! (wth. u must spoil my email by saying so loud I typing this mail issitt!)
not to forget the people who sit furthest away from me. Brenda hah. you seriously love to surprise us. I still remember you come into our room and asked.. so where shall we have buffet ah? u and pb can seriously fight to see who knows more abt food. you 2 can talk and talk and talk about food non-stop for donno how long ah. and I’m waiting for your pay rise so that I’ll have my treat. the adjustment team is going for karaoke and buffet hor??
last but not least, I owe a big thank you to bonnie. if you hadn’t ask me to come here to work, I wouldn’t have written any of the above at all. you appear whenever there’s food in the room and your laughter is blooooody contagious. haiyo. they should seriously consider you as a contract staff, working OT for so many days, and denise is probably gonna struggle once you’re gone. casa will flood the office. hahaha. have a good trip in hk alrights! I think you’re seriously overworked but what to do, every month top student.
and yes there’s still sarah, nat, jingyi that are not ard and I miss them too! sarah don’t go lunch, Amanda also don wanna go. haiyo. then nat don’t know doing what in Canada and jingyi’s back in school. everyone’s going back to school. is that good or bad? but oh well. the best time was when everyone was still here.
are we still going to talk to miss shibuya?
hah, anyway, thanks for making my stay so enjoyable, so full of laughter and nonsense. though there are times when work seems never ending (although this is hardly the case), I know that I’d rather be here than rotting at home. please. keep in contact. I’d still wanna hang out and chill out whenever you guys are free. maybe inject some smiles into my life as I move back to the mugging phase of my life. take care. and I will miss everyone here.
